Ways you can support CALM and fellow CALM activists



  • Getting out there with the message/practice of animal liberation and veganism.
  • Help with a scheduled action and/or plan your own action – See Get Active for more info.
  • Emailing us about opportunities for action (places to speak, table, leaflet, etc).
  • Make a useful resource you ‘have’ the copyright to and make it anticopyright (i.e. photos, videos, writing, etc) or send us the resource with explicit permission for us to use it.  (It will never be used to get money.)
  • Donating products and/or services for CALM actions and activist support.
  • Donating money (or useful gift certificates) to be used for supplies needed for CALM actions.*
*Note: CALM activists will never take a salary/wage from money donated to CALM.

Products CALM Needs

  • Outreach materials (printed leaflets, posters, banners, etc)
  • Projector (for outreach, presentations, workshops, video screenings, etc.)
  • Laptops/Desktops + computer parts/peripherals (for volunteer/intern work stations)
  • External hard drive
  • Cameras (still and video)
  • Tripod
  • Paper cutter
  • Button maker
  • USB sticks, blank CDs/DVDs
  • Books/Videos/Zines on social justice & activist themes
  • Office supplies
  • Laserjet printer
  • Food for events and activists (food for an activist is fuel for the revolution)
  • Gardening supplies (many of the worlds problems can be solved in the garden)
  • Camping equipment (to deprive landlords and hotels of our funds)
  • Bikes and bike maintenance  equipment (this revolution will happen on two wheels)

Services CALM Needs

  • Printing (100’s and 1000’s of pages in BW or a few in colour)
  • Housing for interns/co-op students working as full-time CALM activists.
  • Office space for the CALM Collective (anything indoors where electricity and internet is possible)
  • In-kind donation of services including: graphic design, web design, professional writing, media support, translation, veterinary care, and legal services
  • Free trainings for our activists on any useful subject (i.e. anti-oppression, communication skills, ally training, etc)
  • Vehicle access and transportation to actions
  • Server space (anything will help, but we do get a lot of traffic)
